PC Hardware you'll need for Linux...

THE SIMPLE NO NONSENSE ANSWER:

Most any computer that will run MS Windows  XP comfortable you'll find that Linux requires far less resources then Windows ;-)

  • Prefer recent motherboards but not the newest stuff.
  • Most motherboards now have built  in Audio & Network, so that's fine.
  • Linux will take about 9GB of hard drive space to install.
  • Hard drive size will vary due to what you plan to store on it but 200GB SST (or larger)  should be good.
